The Baha’i Guardian’s Message to the people of The British Commonwealth on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

Dear friends residing in the British Isles and the Commonwealth,

My deepest condolences to all of you on the passing of your beloved Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty was surely a shining light who, from the start of her reign witnessed the formation of the first International Baha’i Council in 1951; kept the realm secure in the wake of the martyrdom of the Guardian of the Baha’i Faith Shoghi Effendi in London in 1957; withstood the violation of the everlasting Covenant by the Hands; witnessed the invocation of the curse of Moses mentioned in Deuteronomy 28-30 because of what Ruhiyyih Khanum and the Hands had done; saw the rise of the establisher of the Baha’i Faith, the 7th Angel, Dr Leland Jensen; witnessed the reestablishment of the second International Baha’i Council in 1991; approved her family’s temporary sojourn in Montana in 1994; lived to see the unfurling of the Divine Standard, the Banner of the Oneness of Humanity, hoisted aloft from 9/11 to 9/21, 2001; witnessed the ushering in of the Golden Age of the Dispensation of Baha’u’llah; and survived the entire first epoch of that Golden Age to live to see the 100th Anniversary of the Covenant and the birth and resurrection of the good news of the 1928 Paris Peace Pact! What a wonderful human being, and such a beloved and respected leader for her people, and to have begun her public ministry at such a young and tender age.

With certitude in God, and a happy and joyous flight, having seen the full story of the blessing, curse, and regathering unfold throughout her long and just reign, she has winged her way to the all-highest empyrean, greeted by St. Peter at the pearly gates…”Welcome! Welcome! Welcome! ” And in the arms of her father, Queen Victoria and Abdu’l-Baha she is escorted into the all-highest paradise.

Thinking of you all. May God guide and protect King Charles III and the new British prime minister and not only the people of Britain but the entirety of the commonwealth.

Tough times of nuclear saber-rattling and threats of WWIII.

The Queen has crossed over!!! Long live the King!!

Yours truly,

Neal Chase

Justice is, in this day, bewailing its plight, and Equity groaneth beneath the yoke of oppression. The thick clouds of tyranny have darkened the face of the earth, and enveloped its peoples. Through the movement of Our Pen of glory We have, at the bidding of the omnipotent Ordainer, breathed a new life into every human frame, and instilled into every word a fresh potency. All created things proclaim the evidences of this worldwide regeneration. This is the most great, the most joyful tidings imparted by the Pen of this Wronged One to mankind. Wherefore fear ye, O My well-beloved ones? Who is it that can dismay you? A touch of moisture sufficeth to dissolve the hardened clay out of which this perverse generation is molded. The mere act of your gathering together is enough to scatter the forces of these vain and worthless people.

All the atoms of the earth bear witness, O my Lord, to the greatness of Thy power and of Thy sovereignty; and all the signs of the universe attest the glory of Thy majesty and of Thy might. Have mercy, then, O Thou Who art the sovereign Lord of all, Who art the King of everlasting days, and Ruler of all nations, upon these Thy servants, who have clung to the cord of Thy commandments, who have bowed their necks to the revelations of Thy laws which have been sent down from the heaven of Thy Will.

Baha’u’llah, Gleanings CXXXVIII

O sincere servant of the True One! I hear thou art grieved and distressed at the happenings of the world and the vicissitudes of fortune. Wherefore this fear and sorrow? The true lovers of the Abhá Beauty, and they that have quaffed the Cup of the Covenant fear no calamity, nor feel depressed in the hour of trial. They regard the fire of adversity as their garden of delight, and the depth of the sea the expanse of heaven.

Thou who art neath the shelter of God, and under the shadow of the Tree of His Covenant, why sorrow and repine? Rest thou assured and feel confident. Observe the written commandments of thy Lord with joy and peace, with earnestness and sincerity; and be thou the well-wisher of thy country and thy government. His grace shall assist thee at all times, His blessings shall be bestowed upon thee, and thy heart’s desire shall be realized.

By the Ancient Beauty!—may my life be a sacrifice for His loved ones—Were the friends to realize what a glorious sovereignty the Lord hath destined for them in His Kingdom, surely they would be filled with ecstasy, would behold themselves crowned with immortal glory and carried away with transports of delight. Erelong it shall be made manifest how brilliantly the light of His bountiful care and mercy hath shone upon His loved ones, and what a turbulent ocean hath been stirred in their hearts! Then will they clamour and exclaim: Happy are we; let all the world rejoice!
