Baha’i Sabbath: Mulk/Dominion 3, 180 B.E. (2/9/2024)

“Polls show that most ‘smart’ people tend to believe that the state of the world is getting worse rather than better…”
While the FACTs show otherwise (the Abolition of Slavery, Voting rights for all sexes, the Outlawry of War, the Universal Declaration of Unalienable Human Rights, availability of public education, resources, the net, etc…) between Now and 1860…people still feel the world is worse! Why?
Is it because as we grow older deepening in the core value and preciousness of life itself being sacred, that the cruelty and inhumanity of man against man takes on a darker and darker contrast? Or is it because the world of humanity is actually getting better and better, thus exposing what was once accepted as “necessary evil” is just plain evil?
By “evil” I mean the total and complete absence of the qualities and attributes of kindness, compassion, love, and caring for our fellow man…the Brightness Life Love and Warmth of the Oneness of Humanity today, certainly, makes the darkness of the world of cruelty look worse and evil darker, yet the Fact is there’s less of it…as one soul at a time, let’s that cruelty go…and responds with a timely, farewell to arms….
“Pacific means”…its a conjoint process, Life and Life Abundantly…
“Conflict and strife are forbidden a rigid prohibition in the book”
