The spiritual world is like unto the phenomenal world. They are the exact counterpart of each other. Whatever objects appear in this world of existence are the outer pictures of the world of heaven.

In his scriptural lesson this morning the revered doctor read a verse from the Epistle of St. Paul to the Corinthians, “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face.”
The light of truth has heretofore been seen dimly through variegated glasses, but now the splendors of Divinity shall be visible through the translucent mirrors of pure hearts and spirits. The light of truth is the divine teaching, heavenly instruction, merciful principles and spiritual civilization. Since my arrival in this country I find that material civilization has progressed greatly, that commerce has attained the utmost degree of expansion; arts, agriculture and all details of material civilization have reached the highest stage of perfection, but spiritual civilization has been left behind. Material civilization is like unto the lamp, while spiritual civilization is the light in that lamp. If the material and spiritual civilization become united, then we will have the light and the lamp together, and the outcome will be perfect. For material civilization is like unto a beautiful body, and spiritual civilization is like unto the spirit of life. If that wondrous spirit of life enters this beautiful body, the body will become a channel for the distribution and development of the perfections of humanity.
Jesus Christ came to teach the people of the world this heavenly civilization and not material civilization. He breathed the breath of the Holy Spirit into the body of the world and established an illumined civilization. Among the principles of divine civilization He came to proclaim is the Most Great Peace of mankind. Among His principles of spiritual civilization is the oneness of the kingdom of humanity. Among the principles of heavenly civilization He brought is the virtue of the human world. Among the principles of celestial civilization He announced is the improvement and betterment of human morals.
Today the world of humanity is in need of international unity and conciliation. To establish these great fundamental principles a propelling power is needed. It is self-evident that the unity of the human world and the Most Great Peace cannot be accomplished through material means. They cannot be established through political power, for the political interests of nations are various and the policies of peoples are divergent and conflicting. They cannot be founded through racial or patriotic power, for these are human powers, selfish and weak. The very nature of racial differences and patriotic prejudices prevents the realization of this unity and agreement. Therefore, it is evidenced that the promotion of the oneness of the kingdom of humanity, which is the essence of the teachings of all the Manifestations of God, is impossible except through the divine power and breaths of the Holy Spirit. Other powers are too weak and are incapable of accomplishing this.
For man two wings are necessary. One wing is physical power and material civilization; the other is spiritual power and divine civilization. With one wing only, flight is impossible. Two wings are essential. Therefore, no matter how much material civilization advances, it cannot attain to perfection except through the uplift of spiritual civilization.
All the Prophets have come to promote divine bestowals, to found the spiritual civilization and teach the principles of morality. Therefore, we must strive with all our powers so that spiritual influences may gain the victory. For material forces have attacked mankind. The world of humanity is submerged in a sea of materialism. The rays of the Sun of Reality are seen but dimly and darkly through opaque glasses. The penetrative power of the divine bounty is not fully manifest.
In Persia among the various religions and sects there were intense differences. Bahá’u’lláh appeared in that country and founded the spiritual civilization. He established affiliation among the various peoples, promoted the oneness of the human world and unfurled the banner of the Most Great Peace. He wrote special Epistles covering these facts to all the kings and rulers of nations. Sixty years ago He conveyed His message to the leaders of the political world and to high dignitaries of the spiritual world. Therefore, spiritual civilization is progressing in the Orient, and oneness of humanity and peace among the nations is being accomplished step by step. Now I find a strong movement for universal peace emanating from America. It is my hope that this standard of the oneness of the world of humanity may be upraised with the utmost solidity so that the Orient and Occident may become perfectly reconciled and attain complete intercommunication, the hearts of the East and West become united and attracted, real union become unveiled, the light of guidance shine, divine effulgences be seen day by day so that the world of humanity may find complete tranquillity, the eternal happiness of man become evident and the hearts of the people of the world be as mirrors in which the rays of the Sun of Reality may be reflected. Consequently, it is my request that you should strive so that the light of reality may shine and the everlasting felicity of the world of man become apparent.
I will pray for you so you may attain this everlasting happiness. When I arrived in this city, I was made very happy, for I perceived that the people here have capacity for divine bestowals and have worthiness for the civilization of heaven. I pray that you may attain to all merciful bounties.

O Almighty! O God! O Thou compassionate One! This servant of Thine has hastened to the regions of the West from the uttermost parts of the East that, perchance, these nostrils may be perfumed by the fragrances of Thy bestowals; that the breeze of the rose garden of guidance may blow over these cities; that the people may attain to the capacity of receiving Thy favors; that the hearts may be rejoiced through Thy glad tidings; that the eyes may behold the light of reality; that the ears may hearken to the call of the Kingdom. O Almighty! Illumine the hearts. O kind God! Make the souls the envy of the rose garden and the meadow. O incomparable Beloved! Waft the fragrance of Thy bounty. Radiate the lights of compassion so that the hearts may be cleansed and purified and that they may take a share and portion from Thy confirmations. Verily, this congregation is seeking Thy path, searching for Thy mystery, beholding Thy face and desiring to be characterized with Thine attributes.
O Almighty! Confer Thou infinite bounties. Bestow Thine inexhaustible treasury so that these impotent ones may become powerful.
Verily, Thou art the Kind. Thou art the Generous. Thou art the Omniscient, the Omnipotent.

Don’t be an inert dead lump of lifeless salt! Jump in the Sea! Let the power of Love revive you and recharge you and energize you! Melt your heart in the waters of life of the Oneness of Humanity! Dance the Dream Awake! Free your mind and take a deep and wonderful swim in the cool, refreshing waters of the ocean of knowledge–knowledge that only comes from cooperating to survive by working together in groups…all-together now…move out from isolation into intimacy!

The Cause of Universal Peace for the Oneness of Humanity is the one thing, and the only thing in all the world, upon which we all already agree (the agreement is eternally preserved in writing: Aug 27, 1928) and is everyone’s stated common goal: According to the Promise we made to each other and the Contract we all signed promising one another.

The contract #2137 is the documentary evidence of the Promise. The evidence is on paper, the Promise exists in Reality. Therefore violation of this Promise is a punishment from Reality, not a punishment on paper.

When did you sign the contract? When did you enter the agreement and become legally bound and held personally and permanently accountable for upholding it or violating it, with all of the rewards and punishments for doing so in this world and the next?

Your Government signed it for you in 1928!
If you’re American and have a state drivers license, then : Welcome Home! You are a card-carrying member of the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven, and personally, legally bound, and PROTECTED by #2137, under title 6 of the US Constitution!

Thus this Cause, the Cause of the Abolition of War, the Cause of Universal Peace, the Cause of God, is the one universal goal we all have in common that unites all humanity in one common effort and one common basic core value.

That’s why this is so important! Because it unites us! And it is the Only thing that unites all of us–all at once–and it is the common organic core agreement that always will. Not making war is the ONLY activity we can all do together all at once, all 7 billion of us, all the time everywhere, 24/7, in perfect union and harmony. All the wonderful positive actions we do are our expressions of diversity in that union. In other words, what is it we all do together at once? We live! We breath! You won’t find a single living human being who is not breathing! Even in sleep they’re breathing–all at once, and their hearts beat–and thru #2137, all of our hearts beat at once! Thru the throbbing hearts yearning for Love, we are united at once, having renounced war together, in the name of Love, at once.

Everyone doesn’t inhale all at once! But War IS renounced by All in One breath at once!

Everyone cannot attend the same church at once, chant the same prayer at once, hear the same brillint sermon all at once, attend the same Beth-El music festival at once, sing the same first live global television broadcast Song aloud all at once, or dance the same move at once. However when we agree to renounce war and democratically elect the Committee To End War, this one act, will unite us all at once. It is the only Act that will, and the only act that ever will. Because agreeing not to fight, and the science of behaving that way–that includes the democratic election–is the unitary Act of Love we all share and can experience globally all at once!

Unity-in-Diversity.

Only #2137 has the power to unite us all at once. It does this thru unity-in-diversity, NOT conformity. #2137 is the legal instrument, more powerful, than the “jaw-bone of an ass”! It’s symbol is the “Bow”–rainbow! In which all colors are diverse inseperable yet distinct! The manifestation of the underlying unity of invisible clear light made VISIBLE via the tripartite-prism (three brief articles) of The Covenant to Abolish War.

The Covenant to Abolish War (#2137) is the unifying freedom principle doing this because this particular Cause concerns everyone everywhere: life and death. And therefore it is the Only common Cause that is universal to everyone everywhere that therefore unites everyone in One Common Agreement #2137, War is illegal. Therefore, of all Covenants and Agreements, the Covenant to Abolish War, is the most general covenant upon which all other covenants are based and upon which all other business is conducted, AND it is the most Holy and most sacred Covenant because it is the Covenant of the Oneness of Humanity to uphold for preserving human life, by banning man-made deliberate intentional and willful actions and causes of death (as national policy and public practice). This is why The Covenant to Abolish War (#2137) is in reality, The Most Great Covenant.

“Make Love, not War!”–God

#2137 is the legislative appearance of the inner spirit essence of the universal human “social contract” that is the “everlasting Covenant of peace ” (Ez. 37:26), the “New Jerusalem” “the Bride from Heaven”–the New Law of Peace–the foundation from which all other social contracts and agreements are upheld and derive.

The Nuremberg 10 and Tokyo 7 were executed after trial by the material governments of the world for the crime of violating #2137. The bombs were dropped upon Hiroshima and Nagasaki by the material governments revealing the type of “madness” that consumes the mind of man when #2137 is violated!

Human beings value their life, and we’re all human beings! Therefore we all value not being murdered. Therefore, by the golden rule, do unto others, we VALUE not committing murder. We all value life. It’s our core common value. Therefore we entered into a Conscious Social Contract not to kill one another: an agreement, a contract. The highest appearance of this Agreement between Friends (mizpah) is #2137, because is states we won’t murder one another as National Policy! Even the most disagreeable and toxic person agrees with that!

All those in favor of 2/3 of mankind being killed in one hour of thermonuclear war with every American city with a popluation of 100,000 or more being targeted by Russia’s “satan ii” hypersonic nuclear rockets raise your right hand and say: Aye. Those against…?

We have no power (individually) to stop it! #2137 is the Only other option. It’s Our Real and only Collective Security Agreement because Russia and the US BOTH signed it together! With 70 other “superpowers” of the nations. Collectively we do have the power! #2137 is Our Mandate for Cooperation, the conjoint citizens of the 72 Signatory States of the United Federation of Peoples!

#2137 is our only option in Reality! An already made Agreement we can all agree now to Rededicate ourselves to. And it only works if we all agree! Every citizen of the 72 Nations (signatories, article 3) must know, understand and agree. This is the purpose of school. So people can see the reality with their own eyes. When everyone sees #2137 with their own eyes, then we have the election!

The International Covenant is broken!
#2137 is violated!
2/3 of all biodiversity is dead (Rev. 8:9; Zech. 13:8)!

Concerning the period of Baha’u’llah’s banishment to Iraq, specifically the time from  March 12, 1852 through April 10, 1854

The cup of Bahá’u’lláh’s sorrows was now running over. All His exhortations, all His efforts to remedy a rapidly deteriorating situation, had remained fruitless. The velocity of His manifold woes was hourly and visibly increasing. Upon the sadness that filled His soul and the gravity of the situation confronting Him, His writings, revealed during that somber period, throw abundant light. In some of His prayers He poignantly confesses that “tribulation upon tribulation” had gathered about Him, that “adversaries with one consent” had fallen upon Him, that “wretchedness” had grievously touched Him, and that “woes at their blackest” had befallen Him. God Himself He calls upon as a Witness to His “sighs and lamentations,” His “powerlessness, poverty and destitution,” to the “injuries” He sustained, and the “abasement” He suffered. “So grievous hath been My weeping,” He, in one of these prayers, avows, “that I have been prevented from making mention of Thee and singing Thy praises.” “So loud hath been the voice of My lamentation,” He, in another passage, avers, “that every mother mourning for her child would be amazed, and would still her weeping and her grief.” “The wrongs which I suffer,” He, in His Lawḥ-i-Maryam, laments, “have blotted out the wrongs suffered by My First Name (the Báb) from the Tablet of creation.” “O Maryam!” He continues, “From the Land of Ṭá (Ṭihrán), after countless afflictions, We reached ‘Iráq, at the bidding of the Tyrant of Persia, where, after the fetters of Our foes, We were afflicted with the perfidy of Our friends. God knoweth what befell Me thereafter!” And again: “I have borne what no man, be he of the past or of the future, hath borne or will bear.” “Oceans of sadness,” He testifies in the Tablet of Qullu’ṭ-Ṭa‘ám, “have surged over Me, a drop of which no soul could bear to drink. Such is My grief that My soul hath well nigh departed from My body.” “Give ear, O Kamál!” He, in that same Tablet, depicting His plight, exclaims, “to the voice of this lowly, this forsaken ant, that hath hid itself in its hole, and whose desire is to depart from your midst, and vanish from your sight, by reason of that which the hands of men have wrought. God, verily, hath been witness between Me and His servants.” And again: “Woe is Me, woe is Me … All that I have seen from the day on which I first drank the pure milk from the breast of My mother until this moment hath been effaced from My memory, in consequence of that which the hands of the people have committed.” Furthermore, in His Qaṣídiy-i-Varqá’íyyih, an ode revealed during the days of His retirement to the mountains of Kurdistán, in praise of the Maiden personifying the Spirit of God recently descended upon Him, He thus gives vent to the agonies of His sorrow-laden heart: “Noah’s flood is but the measure of the tears I have shed, and Abraham’s fire an ebullition of My soul. Jacob’s grief is but a reflection of My sorrows, and Job’s afflictions a fraction of my calamity.” “Pour out patience upon Me, O My Lord!”—such is His supplication in one of His prayers, “and render Me victorious over the transgressors.” “In these days,” He, describing in the Kitáb-i-Íqán the virulence of the jealousy which, at that time, was beginning to bare its venomous fangs, has written, “such odors of jealousy are diffused, that … from the beginning of the foundation of the world … until the present day, such malice, envy and hate have in no wise appeared, nor will they ever be witnessed in the future.” “For two years or rather less,” He, likewise, in another Tablet, declares, “I shunned all else but God, and closed Mine eyes to all except Him, that haply the fire of hatred may die down and the heat of jealousy abate.”
Mírzá Áqá Ján himself has testified: “That Blessed Beauty evinced such sadness that the limbs of my body trembled.” He has, likewise, related, as reported by Nabíl in his narrative, that, shortly before Bahá’u’lláh’s retirement, he had on one occasion seen Him, between dawn and sunrise, suddenly come out from His house, His night-cap still on His head, showing such signs of perturbation that he was powerless to gaze into His face, and while walking, angrily remark: “These creatures are the same creatures who for three thousand years have worshipped idols, and bowed down before the Golden Calf. Now, too, they are fit for nothing better. What relation can there be between this people and Him Who is the Countenance of Glory? What ties can bind them to the One Who is the supreme embodiment of all that is lovable?” “I stood,” declared Mírzá Áqá Ján, “rooted to the spot, lifeless, dried up as a dead tree, ready to fall under the impact of the stunning power of His words. Finally, He said:‘Bid them recite:

“Is there any Remover of difficulties save God? Say: Praised be God! He is God! All are His servants, and all abide by His bidding!”

Tell them to repeat it five hundred times, nay, a thousand times, by day and by night, sleeping and waking, that haply the Countenance of Glory may be unveiled to their eyes, and tiers of light descend upon them.’ He Himself, I was subsequently informed, recited this same verse, His face betraying the utmost sadness.… Several times during those days, He was heard to remark: ‘We have, for a while, tarried amongst this people, and failed to discern the slightest response on their part.’ Oftentimes He alluded to His disappearance from our midst, yet none of us understood His meaning.”
Finally, discerning, as He Himself testifies in the Kitáb-i-Íqán, “the signs of impending events,” He decided that before they happened He would retire. “The one object of Our retirement,” He, in that same Book affirms, “was to avoid becoming a subject of discord among the faithful, a source of disturbance unto Our companions, the means of injury to any soul, or the cause of sorrow to any heart.” “Our withdrawal,” He, moreover, in that same passage emphatically asserts, “contemplated no return, and Our separation hoped for no reunion.”
Suddenly, and without informing any one even among the members of His own family, on the 12th of Rajab 1270 A.H. (April 10, 1854), He departed, accompanied by an attendant, a Muḥammadan named Abu’l-Qásim-i-Hamadání, to whom He gave a sum of money, instructing him to act as a merchant and use it for his own purposes. Shortly after, that servant was attacked by thieves and killed, and Bahá’u’lláh was left entirely alone in His wanderings through the wastes of Kurdistán, a region whose sturdy and warlike people were known for their age-long hostility to the Persians, whom they regarded as seceders from the Faith of Islám, and from whom they differed in their outlook, race and language.
Attired in the garb of a traveler, coarsely clad, taking with Him nothing but his kashkúl (alms-bowl) and a change of clothes, and assuming the name of Darvísh Muḥammad, Bahá’u’lláh retired to the wilderness, and lived for a time on a mountain named Sar-Galú, so far removed from human habitations that only twice a year, at seed sowing and harvest time, it was visited by the peasants of that region. Alone and undisturbed, He passed a considerable part of His retirement on the top of that mountain in a rude structure, made of stone, which served those peasants as a shelter against the extremities of the weather. At times His dwelling-place was a cave to which He refers in His Tablets addressed to the famous Shaykh ‘Abdu’r-Raḥmán and to Maryam, a kinswoman of His. “I roamed the wilderness of resignation” He thus depicts, in the Lawḥ-i-Maryam, the rigors of His austere solitude, “traveling in such wise that in My exile every eye wept sore over Me, and all created things shed tears of blood because of My anguish. The birds of the air were My companions and the beasts of the field My associates.” “From My eyes,” He, referring in the Kitáb-i-Íqán to those days, testifies, “there rained tears of anguish, and in My bleeding heart surged an ocean of agonizing pain. Many a night I had no food for sustenance, and many a day My body found no rest.… Alone I communed with My spirit, oblivious of the world and all that is therein.”
In the odes He revealed, whilst wrapped in His devotions during those days of utter seclusion, and in the prayers and soliloquies which, in verse and prose, both in Arabic and Persian, poured from His sorrow-laden soul, many of which He was wont to chant aloud to Himself, at dawn and during the watches of the night, He lauded the names and attributes of His Creator, extolled the glories and mysteries of His own Revelation, sang the praises of that Maiden that personified the Spirit of God within Him, dwelt on His loneliness and His past and future tribulations, expatiated upon the blindness of His generation, the perfidy of His friends and the perversity of His enemies, affirmed His determination to arise and, if needs be, offer up His life for the vindication of His Cause, stressed those essential pre-requisites which every seeker after Truth must possess, and recalled, in anticipation of the lot that was to be His, the tragedy of the Imám Ḥusayn in Karbilá, the plight of Muḥammad in Mecca, the sufferings of Jesus at the hands of the Jews, the trials of Moses inflicted by Pharaoh and his people and the ordeal of Joseph as He languished in a pit by reason of the treachery of His brothers. These initial and impassioned outpourings of a Soul struggling to unburden itself, in the solitude of a self-imposed exile (many of them, alas lost to posterity) are, with the Tablet of Kullu’ṭ-Ṭa‘ám and the poem entitled Rashḥ-i-‘Amá, revealed in Ṭihrán, the first fruits of His Divine Pen. They are the forerunners of those immortal works—the Kitáb-i-Íqán, the Hidden Words and the Seven Valleys—which in the years preceding His Declaration in Baghdád, were to enrich so vastly the steadily swelling volume of His writings, and which paved the way for a further flowering of His prophetic genius in His epoch-making Proclamation to the world, couched in the form of mighty Epistles to the kings and rulers of mankind, and finally for the last fruition of His Mission in the Laws and Ordinances of His Dispensation formulated during His confinement in the Most Great Prison of ‘Akká.

Insight into Marx reveals a critique of the economics of war that we see today in our current total war-based habits.

The nature, spirit and form of an unbridled capitalism that is the instrument used to spread and maintain a total WAR economy is not the same nature, spirit and form of the free enterprise and entrepreneurial life of a pro-social bridled capitalism that can sustain a stable durable peace time global system of fair trade and abundant diversity of goods and services–nor under the influence of the war demon.

This article exposes, on the face, that Marx’s surface economic indicators and evaluations are specifically a critique of war based economies and not that of peace time. Why? Because our world has never seen peace on earth, we’ve had nothing but wars for 6000 years, and for the last 2000 years, the worst wars have been fought between the so-called Christian peoples.

Unbridled capitalism is used by those who violate our species being–our humanity and basic human rights as we are all one people–as an economic instrument to support and sustain war, just as much as economic communism and socialism have also been bent toward war. In the name of national socialism, WWII erupted out of Germany. In the name of communism the Russian peoples and their neighbors were swallowed up in the cold war. In the name of freedom and capitalism the US thru the UN violated #2137 and declared war on Iraq illegally (a signatory state in good standing) and declared gulf War I, that led to gulf War II, in Afghanistan, and the economic fight over who controls gas and oil in Ukraine and Crimea (the lands of the ancient Jewish Kingdom of Khazaria) and the current crisis today.

Capitalism can be used for war or for peace. Unbridled it’s good for war and good for greedy war-mongers, like communism and socialism used to maintain a rigged system for the selfish and inhumane. Bridled capitalism, like sports that has rules and regulations, has the highest potential functionality of freedoms for all–in a world system of Global Peace–reigned in by the bottom line priorities of human life and green crime.

The economic critique is a critique of Total War Economy as Marx himself lived in a world of total war. Scholars, like this one, will be victorious in their efforts when they all wake up to the fact that any economic system that supports and sustains the war based economy of the military industrial complex is evil in its use toward war, and its the greed and corruption of the people in their hearts, who refuses to beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks to LEARN war no more. Transmutating swords and spears into plowshares and pruning hooks means war and death are not to be the center of our collective economic and communal life, but agriculture and life! The dysfunctional economics of the military industrial complex is NOT the same as the functional economics of the high-tech agricultural educational ecology.

Scholars, to be relevant and successful, need to be aware, of the lack of conscious mindfulness in corpus Marx, of any full treatment or discussion, of how the critique must engage Total War Economy in specific and the perversion of the economics of war and war mentality in general.

Total WAR, and Total War Economy has to go!

The military industrial complex is devouring its own self in autophage right before our eyes and is taking down large swaths of humanity along with it. Corpus Hermeticum “Who is Apollos?” (1 Cor. 3:5; Acts 18:24)? He is Apollonius of Tyana, Jesus’ apostle and disciple. He taught from the Emerald Tablet he discovered…Alchemy here means the personal growth and transmutation of the self in God. Lead into Gold; simple physical bodily strength of brute force, self and passions, the word of God, transmutes into heavenly power.

Where are the Gospels of Apollos? Why are they not in the Bible? These are preserved in what’s still extant of the writings of Apollonius of Tyana, and the Emerald Tablet and Corpus Hermeticum he recovered and preserved, because just saying you believe in Jesus, he said, was not good enough, what was the grace of salvation, for him, was being made into the spiritual image and likeness of God, doing the great work, growing in spirit, becoming evanescent in God, and attaining unto eternal life in everlasting paradise in the direct and immediate moment as experienced right now on earth, while in the body, and to continue without end throughout all the worlds of God.

Divine Alchemy, the transfiguration of Jesus, the transmutation and awakening of souls from mere animal bodies into powerful compassionate heavenly beings–we shall all be transformed in the twinkling of an eye–the awakening of personal spiritual powers–And then God Covenanted “Let Us make man after Our image and Our likeness” (Gen 1:26).

Are not these the “deep things of God” of which no true Christian should be deprived?

Peace on earth shall only be obtained by the cooperation of peaceful people! Transmute war into Justice! Hate into peace! Love into Life! Lead into Gold! Sadness into relief! Misery into Joy! Loneliness into the Oneness of Humanity!

Abdu’l-Baha: O Thou who art rejoiced at the explanation of the maid-servant of God ………!

Thank thou God that He hath sent forth unto Thee such a spiritual and loving sister, who is preserved from egotism and desires and is rejoiced at the glad-tidings of God. Can there be imagined any greater mercy than this? No! by the One who hath created the heaven and earth! Blessed Thou art, for Thou hast inhaled the fragrances of life from the garden of the Kingdom of el-Baha before thine ears had heard the call!

As to ……… whom thou hast mentioned, it behooveth him to seek only the divine bounties and subjects which lead to the real knowledge of the Invisible, through the mediation of the Holy Spirit. Then he will perceive the reality of the triune powers in man, through his innate perception. For, verily, the sign of these triune powers which exist in mankind are spirit, mind and soul. The spirit is the power of life, the mind is the power which apprehendeth the reality of things, and the soul is an intermediary between the Supreme Concourse (or Spiritual World) and the Lower Concourse (or Material World). It, i.e., the soul, hath two phases: The higher aspireth to the Kingdom of el-Baha, and the lights of the mind shine forth from that horizon (or kingdom) unto its higher sphere; the other phase inclineth to the lower concourse of the material world and its lowest sphere is enveloped in the darkness of ignorance. But when light is poured upon this phase, and if this phase of the soul is capable of receiving it, then “truth hath come and falsehood vanisheth, for falsehood is of short duration”– otherwise, darkness will surround it from all directions and it will be deprived of association with the Supreme Concourse and will remain in the lowest depths.

As to the “voice:” There are two kinds of voices. One is the physical voice and it is expressed by atmospheric vibrations which affect the nerves of the ear; the other is the breath of the Merciful, and this is a call which is continually heard from the Supreme Concourse and cheereth the pure and holy souls. May it be beneficial to those who have heard the Call!

Know thou that the Ancient Light and the Manifest Beauty hath sown seeds in the soil of existence and hath irrigated it through His spiritual bounties. This soil will surely bring forth good plants of divine gifts; the leaves of this growth are love and union, its stem is the teachings of the True One and His Supreme Laws [the Abolition of War #2137], and the grain pods are the heavenly blessings which giveth life to the souls. Depend Thou on these! Depend Thou on these! Depend Thou on this, and abandon every imagination and be attracted to the Light of Reality and discover both the divine truths and physical truths!

Also, know thou that the greatest spiritual and divine “chaplet” is the Word of God and the Sun of Truth which penetrateth the reality of the created things and attracteth the entire soul of man in the world of existence and shineth forth unto all horizons and regions. Hast thou ever perceived a greater “chaplet” than this? No! by the Splendor of Baha!

Verily, I yearn for the visit of those souls who are cheered, dilated and moved by and attracted to the Holy Spirit and the Word of God.

The Festival of Naw-Rúz falleth on the day that the sun entereth the sign of Aries,even should this occur no more than one minute before sunset.

Praised be Thou, O my God, that Thou hast ordained Naw-Rúz as a festival unto those who have observed the fast for love of Thee and abstained from all that is abhorrent unto Thee. Grant, O my Lord, that the fire of Thy love and the heat produced by the fast enjoined by Thee may inflame them in Thy Cause, and make them to be occupied with Thy praise and with remembrance of Thee.
Since Thou hast adorned them, O my Lord, with the ornament of the fast prescribed by Thee, do Thou adorn them also with the ornament of Thine acceptance, through Thy grace and bountiful favor. For the doings of men are all dependent upon Thy good-pleasure, and are conditioned by Thy behest. Shouldst Thou regard him who hath broken the fast as one who hath observed it, such a man would be reckoned among them who from eternity had been keeping the fast. And shouldst Thou decree that he who hath observed the fast hath broken it, that person would be numbered with such as have caused the Robe of Thy Revelation to be stained with dust, and been far removed from the crystal waters of this living Fountain.

Thou art He through Whom the ensign “Praiseworthy art Thou in Thy works” hath been lifted up, and the standard “Obeyed art Thou in Thy behest” hath been unfurled. Make known this Thy station, O my God, unto Thy servants, that they may be made aware that the excellence of all things is dependent upon Thy bidding and Thy word, and the virtue of every act is conditioned by Thy leave and the good-pleasure of Thy will, and may recognize that the reins of men’s doings are within the grasp of Thine acceptance and Thy commandment. Make this known unto them, that nothing whatsoever may shut them out from Thy Beauty, in these days whereon the Christ exclaimeth: “All dominion is Thine, O Thou the Begetter of the Spirit (Jesus)”; and Thy Friend (Muḥammad) crieth out: “Glory be to Thee, O Thou the Best-Beloved, for that Thou hast uncovered Thy Beauty, and written down for Thy chosen ones what will cause them to attain unto the seat of the revelation of Thy Most Great Name, through which all the peoples have lamented except such as have detached themselves from all else except Thee, and set themselves towards Him Who is the Revealer of Thyself and the Manifestation of Thine attributes.”

He Who is Thy Branch and all Thy company, O my Lord, have broken this day their fast, after having observed it within the precincts of Thy court, and in their eagerness to please Thee. Do Thou ordain for him, and for them, and for all such as have entered Thy presence in those days all the good Thou didst destine in Thy Book. Supply them, then, with that which will profit them, in both this life and in the life beyond.

Thou, in truth, art the All-Knowing, the All-Wise.

O Lord, my Lord!

This is the day which Thy Sacred Tongue and Thy Pen of Glory both have sanctified, and made it a day of heavenly blessings, of divine benediction and favour. Thou hast honoured it with Thy bestowals, endued it with Thy Grace, and invested it with Thy Glory, and caused it to be a day of joy and gladness unto them that have turned to the Light of Thy Divine Revelation; that the hearts may thereby be gladdened, that the radiance of happiness may illumine the lives of them that remember the manifestation of Thy Glory upon Thy Sacred Mount.

Hallow it, 0 Lord, with Thy grace, and make it a day of joy and blessedness for Thy loved ones that have stood fast and firm in Thy Covenant, Thy friends that have sung Thy praise, and especially for this servant of Thine that hath turned his face to Thy Holy Kingdom, supplicated the glory of Thy might and power, circled Thy throne of grandeur and fell prostrate at Thy threshold of Divine Mercy. Thou art the Gracious, the Bountiful, the All Merciful.

THE Lord of all mankind hath fashioned this human realm to be a Garden of Eden, an earthly paradise. If, as it must, it findeth the way to harmony and peace, to love and mutual trust, it will become a true abode of bliss, a place of manifold blessings and unending delights. Therein shall be revealed the excellence of humankind, therein shall the rays of the Sun of Truth shine forth on every hand.

Remember how Adam and the others once dwelt together in Eden. No sooner, however, did a quarrel break out between Adam and Satan than they were, one and all, banished from the Garden, and this was meant as a warning to the human race, a means of telling humankind that dissension—even with the Devil—is the way to bitter loss. This is why, in our illumined age, God teacheth that conflicts and disputes are not allowable, not even with Satan himself.

Gracious God! Even with such a lesson before him, how heedless is man! Still do we see his world at war from pole to pole. There is war among the religions; war among the nations; war among the peoples; war among the rulers. What a welcome change would it be, if only these black clouds would lift from off the skies of the world, so that the light of reality could be shed abroad! If only the darksome dust of this continual fighting and killing could settle forever, and the sweet winds of God’s loving-kindness could blow from out the wellspring of peace. Then would this world become another world, and the earth would shine with the light of her Lord.

If there is any hope, it is solely in the bounties of God: that His strengthening grace will come, and the struggling and contending will cease, and the acid bite of blood-dripping steel will be turned into the honey-dew of friendship and probity and trust. How sweet would that day be in the mouth, how fragrant as musk the scent thereof.

God grant that the new year will bring a promise of the new peace. May He enable this distinguished assemblage to conclude a fair treaty and establish a just covenant, that you may be blessed forever, across the unborn reaches of time.

THESE are the days of Naw-Rúz. I am always thinking of those kind friends! I beg for each and all of you confirmations and assistance from the threshold of oneness, so that those gatherings may become ignited like unto candles, in the republics of America, enkindling the light of the love of God in the hearts; thus the rays of the heavenly teachings may begem and brighten the states of America like the infinitude of immensity with the stars of the Most Great Guidance.

Because the ground is rich, the rain of the divine outpouring is descending. Now you must become heavenly farmers and scatter pure seeds in the prepared soil. The harvest of every other seed is limited, but the bounty and the blessing of the seed of the divine teachings is unlimited. Throughout the coming centuries and cycles many harvests will be gathered. Consider the work of former generations. During the lifetime of Jesus Christ the believing, firm souls were few and numbered, but the heavenly blessings descended so plentifully that in a number of years countless souls entered beneath the shadow of the Gospel. God has said in the Qur’án: “One grain will bring forth seven sheaves, and every sheaf shall contain one hundred grains.” (Quran 2:261) In other words, one grain will become seven hundred; and if God so wills He will double these also. It has often happened that one blessed soul has become the cause of the guidance of a nation. Now we must not consider our ability and capacity, nay, rather, we must fix our gaze upon the favors and bounties of God, in these days, Who has made of the drop a sea, and of the atom a sun.

THOU Who dealest equitably with all who are in heaven and on earth, and rulest over the kingdom of Thy creation and of Thy Revelation! I testify that every man of equity hath recognized his unfairness in the face of the revelation of the splendors of the Daystar of Thy Justice, and the ablest of pens hath confessed its impotence before the movement of Thy most exalted Pen.

By Thy life, O Thou the Possessor of all names! The minds of the profoundest thinkers are sore perplexed as they contemplate the ocean of Thy knowledge, and the heaven of Thy wisdom, and the Luminary of Thy grace. How can he who is but a creation of Thy will claim to know what is with Thee, or to conceive Thy nature?

Praise, immeasurable praise be to Thee! I swear by Thy glory! My inner and outer tongue, openly and secretly, testify that Thou hast been exalted above the reach and ken of Thy creatures, above the utterance of Thy servants, above the testimonies of Thy dear ones and Thy chosen ones, and the apprehension of Thy Prophets and of Thy Messengers.

I beseech Thee, O my Lord, by Thy Name which Thou hast made to be the Dayspring of Thy Revelation and the Dawning-Place of Thine inspiration, to ordain for this wronged One and for them that are dear to Thee what becometh Thy loftiness. Thou, in very truth, art the All-Bountiful, the All-Powerful, the All-Knowing, the All-Wise.

Praise be to Thee, O Lord my God! I beseech Thee by this Revelation whereby darkness hath been turned into light, through which the Frequented Fane hath been built, and the Written Tablet revealed, and the Outspread Roll uncovered, to send down upon me and upon them who are in my company that which will enable us to soar into the heavens of Thy transcendent glory, and will wash us from the stain of such doubts as have hindered the suspicious from entering into the tabernacle of Thy unity.

I am the one, O my Lord, who hath held fast the cord of Thy loving-kindness, and clung to the hem of Thy mercy and favors. Do Thou ordain for me and for my loved ones the good of this world and of the world to come. Supply them, then, with the Hidden Gift Thou didst ordain for the choicest among Thy creatures.

These are, O my Lord, the days in which Thou hast bidden Thy servants to observe the fast. Blessed is he that observeth the fast wholly for Thy sake and with absolute detachment from all things except Thee. Assist me and assist them, O my Lord, to obey Thee and to keep Thy precepts. Thou, verily, hast power to do what Thou choosest.

There is no God but Thee, the All-Knowing, the All-Wise. All praise be to God, the Lord of all worlds.

Happy is your condition for you have executed the divine command; and have arisen to fast in these blessed days. For this physical fasting is a symbol of the spiritual fasting, that is, abstaining from all carnal desires, becoming characterized with the attributes of the spiritual ones, attracted to the heavenly fragrances and enkindled with the fire of the love of God.

As regards fasting, it constitutes, together with the obligatory prayers, the two pillars that sustain the revealed Law of God. They act as stimulants to the soul, strengthen, revive and purify it, and thus insure its steady development.

The ordinance of fasting is, as is the case with these three prayers (obligatory) a spiritual and vital obligation enjoined by Bahá’u’lláh upon every believer who has attained the age of fifteen. In the Aqdas He thus writes: ‘We have commanded you to pray and fast from the beginning of maturity; this is ordained by God, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers. He has exempted from this those who are weak from illness or age, as a bounty from His Presence, and He is the Forgiving, the Generous.’

And in another passage He says: ‘We have enjoined upon you fasting during a brief period, and at its close have designated for you Naw-Rúz as a Feast… The traveller, the ailing, those who are with child or giving suck, are not bound by the Fast… Abstain from food and drink, from sunrise to sundown, and beware lest desire deprive you of this grace that is appointed in the Book.’

Also in the ‘Questions and Answers’ that form an appendix to the Aqdas, Bahá’u’lláh reveals the following: ‘Verily, I say that God has appointed a Great station for fasting and prayer. But during good health its benefit is evident, and when one is ill, it is not permissible to fulfill them.’ Concerning the age of maturity, He reveals in the appendix of that same Book: ‘The age of maturity is in the fifteenth year; women and men are alike in this respect.’ Regarding the vital character and importance of the Divine ordinances and laws, and the necessity of complete obedience to them by the believers, we thus read in the Gleanings, p. 175:

‘Know verily that the essence of justice and the source thereof are both embodied in the ordinance prescribed by Him Who is the Manifestation of the Self of God amongst men, if ye be of them that recognize this truth. He doth verily incarnate the highest, the infallible standard of justice unto all creation. Were His law to be such as to strike terror in the hearts of all that are in heaven and on earth, that law is naught but manifest justice. The fears and agitation which the revelation of this law provoke in men’s hearts should indeed be likened to the cries of the suckling babe weaned from his mother’s milk, if ye be of them that perceive…’

O Pen of the Most High! Say: O people of the world! We have enjoined upon you fasting during a brief period, and at its close have designated for you Naw-Rúz as a feast. Thus hath the Day-Star of Utterance shone forth above the horizon of the Book as decreed by Him Who is the Lord of the beginning and the end. Let the days in excess of the months be placed before the month of fasting. We have ordained that these, amid all nights and days, shall be the manifestations of the letter Há, and thus they have not been bounded by the limits of the year and its months. It behoveth the people of Bahá, throughout these days, to provide good cheer for themselves, their kindred and, beyond them, the poor and needy, and with joy and exultation to hail and glorify their Lord, to sing His praise and magnify His Name; and when they end—these days of giving that precede the season of restraint—let them enter upon the Fast. Thus hath it been ordained by Him Who is the Lord of all mankind. Known as the Ayyám-i-Há (the Days of Há), the Intercalary Days have the distinction of being associated with “the letter Há”. The abjad numerical value of this Arabic letter is five, which corresponds to the potential number of intercalary days.

The letter “Há” has been given several spiritual meanings in the Holy Writings, among which is as a symbol of the Essence of God.

Say: Nature in its essence is the embodiment of My Name, the Maker, the Creator. Its manifestations are diversified by varying causes, and in this diversity there are signs for men of discernment. Nature is God’s Will and is its expression in and through the contingent world. It is a dispensation of Providence ordained by the Ordainer, the All-Wise. Were anyone to affirm that it is the Will of God as manifested in the world of being, no one should question this assertion. It is endowed with a power whose reality men of learning fail to grasp. Indeed a man of insight can perceive naught therein save the effulgent splendor of Our Name, the Creator. Say: This is an existence which knoweth no decay, and Nature itself is lost in bewilderment before its revelations, its compelling evidences and its effulgent glory which have encompassed the universe.

My God, my Fire and my Light! The days which Thou hast named the Ayyám-i-Há (the Days of Há, Intercalary days) in Thy Book have begun, O Thou Who art the King of names, and the fast which Thy most exalted Pen hath enjoined unto all who are in the kingdom of Thy creation to observe is approaching. I entreat Thee, O my Lord, by these days and by all such as have during that period clung to the cord of Thy commandments, and laid hold on the handle of Thy precepts, to grant that unto every soul may be assigned a place within the precincts of Thy court, and a seat at the revelation of the splendors of the light of Thy countenance.

These, O my Lord, are Thy servants whom no corrupt inclination hath kept back from what Thou didst send down in Thy Book. They have bowed themselves before Thy Cause, and received Thy Book with such resolve as is born of Thee, and observed what Thou hadst prescribed unto them, and chosen to follow that which had been sent down by Thee.

Thou seest, O my Lord, how they have recognized and confessed whatsoever Thou hast revealed in Thy Scriptures. Give them to drink, O my Lord, from the hands of Thy graciousness the waters of Thine eternity. Write down, then, for them the recompense ordained for him that hath immersed himself in the ocean of Thy presence, and attained unto the choice wine of Thy meeting.

I implore Thee, O Thou the King of kings and the Pitier of the downtrodden, to ordain for them the good of this world and of the world to come. Write down for them, moreover, what none of Thy creatures hath discovered, and number them with those who have circled round Thee, and who move about Thy throne in every world of Thy worlds.

Thou, truly, art the Almighty, the All-Knowing, the All-Informed.

It turns out that the 1928 General Treaty to Renounce War (#2137) is the “everlasting Covenant of peace” (Ez. 37:26) spoken all throughout the Hebrew Bible, the Koran, and the sacred prophecies of all traditions, faiths and indigenous peoples.

It turns out, seen with an eye of insight, that #2137 that makes war illegal between the 72 signatory nation states, provides the rock-solid foundation for the peoples charter (article 2) “pacific means” to democratically elect the SupremeTribunal to end war, the “house” beth-el, where all nations shall flow (meaning to gather and democratically elect) and “learn war no more” (Is. 2).

It turns out that by the criteria of prophecy fulfilled (an ancient, valid and firmly tested epistemology in its own right) the “Kingdom of God” eagerly awaited by Jews, Christians and Muslims (and by all traditions) is already established upon the earth as it is in heaven as of August 27, 1928!

It turns out if we see that this is the FACT with our own eyes, and all the people see that the everlasting Covenant of Friendship was legislated as international law for all nations and peoples in 1928…then it turns out we can all come together NOW at the time of the Great Crisis of this promised ONE HOUR to Activate Article II correctly and live in Universal Peace on Earth and justice for all peoples, the “Kingdom of God” on earth, experiencing the Oneness of Humanity in all our daily affairs, relationships and community interactions…

It turns out that God has already answered all the peoples prayers for world peace and for material and spiritual salvation of all human beings, in 1928.

It turns out that we today are, one and all and equally so, the heirs of this noble and peerless heritage: that for the first time in the history of the human race, war is now illegal!

So it turns out now, it’s up to us to be Firm in the Covenant #2137…

If the people are functional (spiritual) any system will work, but if they’re not spiritual then no system will work…

It turns out God did God’s part, and here it is, the “Kingdom of God” meaning the everlasting society of justice and peace, established on earth as it is in heaven legally as of 1928…

So it turns out now, if we want to have this life for us all on earth without war, then as God has done God’s part, it’s now up to us all to non-violently do our part, in personal practice and for public policy…

Let go of WAR, embrace the love and hope that Universal Peace and the Oneness of Humanity, justice for all, shall prevail…
